Tel Aviv, here we come! Be ready for more, because in this course you will visit ultraorthodox family from Bnei Brak, take safari in Ramat Gan and go shopping in Holon. You will master past tense and learn purpose, reason & result sentences, use reported speed and review all prepositions with personal suffixes.
This course is one of four thematic units on elementary level. Each unit consists of: thematic vocabulary, interactive reading, grammar section and listening part together with two listening comprehensions. Each section includes audio recordings, interactive exercises, fully illustrated presentations and rich methodological content developed by professional Hebrew teachers and native speakers. During the course you can take part in live Hebrew classes with Alef-Bet tutors or chat with via forum with other Hebrew learners
In this course, you will learn useful Hebrew vocabulary related to nature: plants, trees, animals, but also directions and weather terms – anything you may need for a lovely journey in the forest or the nearby park.In the Interactive story, you would join Lina and Haim, the Ramat Gan Safari caretakers, for a day at the zoo. In the third part, we will review some old grammar topics and learn new ones: we would repeat the present forms of verbs in HIF’IL, and learn its past form. Then we will learn to phrase purpose sentences, using various prepositions, and ask and inquire about purpose. In the fourth, listening comprehension part, you will listen to the weather report, and to a phone call between Yael and her son planning a day trip together.
